Comments:
We were driving on Camino Caxata-Quime, this highway has a pretty high mountain crossing where the road touches 4730 meter altitude. We spotted a local mountain here with an antenna on top. This looked like a pretty good bonus peak as well as a nice way to stretch legs and get som acclimatization benefit.
The ascent was easy, but we did feel the altitude. About 200 meter vertical gain. We were soon at the summit. The view from here did not disappoint, very nice in several directions. Two dogs were up here, but seemingly no person. We spent some time taking pictures and a panorama video. However, we needed to carry on and started our descent. Half way down, we met the care taker and owner of the dogs. He complained a little about walking upghill with thin air.
