How to get there:
See Photulo.
From the Photulo trailhead described above, continue driving
to location S19.570151, W64.631446, elevation near 4064 meter. There
is parking off the road here. This is a good trailhead.
Route:
Do an ascending traverse (climbers left) to reach the summit. The ascent is
about 15 minutes.
Comments:
This peak, having its key saddle at the col where we started our ascent of
Photulo was just too easy to pass. It looked
like it even might have a prominence exceeding 300 meter. (It turned out to
barely miss this value. We drove to the trailhead and made the ascent
in slightly less than 15 minutes. Unlike Photulo,
this summit even had a cairn.
We descended back to the car in about 10 minutes.
It was now time to drive back to our hotel in Sucre.
