Information:
How to get there:
See the description for Khüiten Uul. Route description:
From the high camp for Khüiten, cross the flat glacier and aim for
the saddle between Nairamdal and the higher Russian-tent peak on the
right side. Turn more left and ascend this small hump.
There is a small cairn on the summit.
The view from
the summit is nice.
Comments:
This small summit is significant only because it is a common boundary
of three nations. The largest country on earth, Russia, the most populous country
on earth, China, and the country having the lowest population per square kilometer,
Mongolia, all share this common boundary point.
The name Nairamdal means friendship. Thus, the peak is also called Friendship Peak.
