Route description:
The old farm road quickly turns into a trail. Follow this through a small
forest. When you enter farm fields, turn right and ascend the open slope (trees on
your right side) more steeply until you connect with another farm road.
Continue along this road as you traverse a small hump, then descend slightly. There
are traces of a trail, but indistinct in places. You will get the forest and a fence
on your left. The route finally leaves the open fields (cowss grazing) and enters
the jungle.
Continue on a more well defined path that ascends gently uphill in the jungle. Turn left
higher up and after a brief descent, you reach a small creek with nice pools that people
like to visit, it seems most people only visit these.
The trail continues uphill, more steeply higher up. There is one very short
section protected by a rope with some knots. The summit area is full of bushes and
smaller trees. The trail continues across and there is a small rock cairn, but this
is certainly at a lower elevation where the trail is descending.
Here is a quick summary of peaks climbed on this trip to Brazil.
