How to get there:
From Bergamo, drive via the town Albino to Gandino.
From here, a narrow, but paved road clibs to location
N45.83368, E9.90114, elevation near 1235m. There is parking here
for more than 100 cars. The road continues, but signs inform that
this is not public, only for access to private properties.
Route::
Follow the road (there is a short trail connecting in one location), until
it becomes horizontal. You will
now see the summit with a large cross ahead.
An obvious trail forks left. Follow this trail to the summit.
Comments:
Previous trip reports on Peakbagger started elsewhere, but this road seemed
to serve a good trailhead. Indeed, the parking (100+ cars) was almost full
on this Sunday. I walked leisurely to the summit
in 45 minutes. The return in
30 minutes. The vertical gain is about 400 meter.
