Route description:
From the trailhead, a clear trail runs into the forest next to a fence
on your right when facing towards the mountain. (turn right as you come
up the road.) This trail is well marked and easy to follow. After a while
it is more sustained uphill in order to reach a local ridge.
After a bit more level terrain, you will get to a line of rock slab that
ascends uphill. Follow this, good friction when dry, but care is needed.
After reaching the more level part of this local ridge, the trail will
continue up to climbers right. A new section of slabs follows, but less steep,
a nice view of steeper terrain on your right hand side. A final short
walk will bring you to the summit. This area is unfortunately, busy with
vegetation and offers only limited views.
Here is a quick summary of peaks climbed on this trip to Brazil.
