How to get there:
This mountain is in the municipality Sveio, south in Vestland.
A reasonable trailhead is located at 59.57145, 5.40682, elevation around 75 meter.
Route description:
Pass the gate and continue a short way on a tractor road.
Head directly uphill, slightly
left to avoid the cliffs. When you gain the small col between the two minor tops, continue
on the left of the small pond, across the meadow and easily to the summit.
The summit is marked with a small cairn. Comments:
I did this climb with my friend Kjell.
We planned a continuation of our trip the previous week to Bømlo. This time visiting
6 small hills in nearby Sveio.
The trail was well marked, but it was pretty impossible to avoid getting wet feet.
Good views from the summit. The trip took about one hour.
The next hill was Nordskogfjellet.
