How to get there:
This summit is a short drive from San Francisco.
A long winding road with curves and hills. Route description:
One can essentially drive to the top.
There is a short trail from the parking area. Comments:
Heidi and I visited this peak in August 1977. Unfortunately,
the disks (brake) om my Mustang were damaged, the braking pads should
have been replaced some time ago.
I believed we had indeed climbed the peak. However, unfortunately, it has
later been discovered that the less accessible, west summit is slightly higher.
