How to get there:
Turn off E-134 just north of Morgedal at location N59.47822, E8.35996. Drive this
small, but nice dirt road passing a few buildings to
a locked gate at location
N59.47338, E8.37280, elevation near 570 meter. It is possible to park 1-2 cars off the
road on the left hand side. This is the trailhead.
Route:
Continue along the road about 2 more kilometer to a building on your left hand side.
A vague tractor track continues gently uphill. Follow this about 100 meter, turn left and ascend
to the summit.

Heidi and I stayed 2 nights at Morgedal hotel on our way to my cabin near Lillehammer.
Today was our 49th. anniversary and we had first been hiking a nearby hill where Heidi
collected some more sticks. (A hobby go visit places marked on a map.)
We also visited the place
where Sondre Norheim used to live.
He is regarded as the pioneer for modern skiing.
The elegant Telemark turn was first used in the local hills here.
We drove the small, but nice forest road and hoped to get close to the summit. Therefore, a
bit disappointed to find a locked gate. However, the 2 km walk along this road was actually
quite nice. Heidi decided to stay at the road while I went to the summit. When I returned to
the road Heidi had started the walk back. I started jogging and caught up before we were back.
The ascent had taken about 45 minutes while my return was about 30 minutes.
