Information:

How to get there:
Drive to Knarvik north of Bergen, go left in the very first traffic circle, then follow Hwy. 565 to Radøy. The bridge to Radøy is an old single lane bridge. Continue north, then more west as the road makes a few sharp bends before a fork where you should go left. Continue along the road that heads more south to lake Ølvatnet. Turn around the south end of Morkefjellet, then find a small road that forks left serving Kvitstein, located on the west side of the mountain. Drive to location N60.61475, E005.09128, elevation about 65 meter, where there is a signed trailhead.
Route:
Follow the trail 0.9 kilometer to the summit. This summit has an antenna. The trail has recently been improved by board walks crossing the wet sections.
Comments:
I left my car at 1500 and arrived at the summit at 1515. A brief rest to take some pictures, then a 10 minute return, back at the car at 1530. My next target was Morkefjellet.
