How to get there:
Exit E-6 at Ranheim (going north from Trondheim centrum), going right, then
almost immediately turn left to access the area called Reppe. Follow the
road uphill and through a residental area towards the hills. There are some
signs and you should find parking at a place called Tjønnstuggu.
This is at location N63.4085, E010.5630, elevation about 210 meter.
A closer trailhead would be to drive to the lake Jonsvatnet, continue on
its north side and park near Jervan. Jervan is a farm located south-west of
the Blåberga summit.
Route:
Follow the main skitrack until you are in the valley west of Blåberga.
There is a small lake called Metjønna here. Locate a small forest road
that forks right. This road gradually curves right and climbs to the upper part
of this hill. The summit is now a short distance away.

I visited this summit as a small side trip while skiing with my friend
Jostein from Tjønnstuggu (near Ranheim) to Abrahallen (near Hommelvik).
The first summit on this
trip was Solemsvåttan. Leaving there around
1135, I tried to ski more or less straight across. This was definitely not
easy and cannot be recommended. The terrain is steep with cliffs and dense
vegetation. I finally followed under a power line (still steepish) to reach
the valley just before Blåberga. The main (groomed) ski track runs here.
The ascent was relatively easy, but still not what you consider good skiing.
The area has recently been cleared, ie. the big trees have been cut down.
This leaves piles of branches and isolated fallen trees, all contributing a
bit of trouble what regards skiing.
I arrived on the top where more fallen trees
prevented any skiing, around
1250. The skiing back down to the main, groomed track was easy. I joined up
with Jostein there and we subsequently had a nice ski to the
Vulusjøen lake and onwards to Abrahallen where I had left my rental
car in the morning.
