How to get there:
The trailhead is along Hwy. 250 connecting Vingrom with Dokka. After crossing the small dam of lake Storlondammen, (driving from Vingrom) continue aout 6 more kilometer and find parking on your left. This is location
Route description:
Take the right fork among the two smaller roads serving local mountain homes. Follow this almost to the end, a sign on the right hand side points to the trail (marked) that runs up the hill to the summit.
Comments:
We were at my mountain hut for Christmas and expecting guests this day. Thus a short trip was in order. Also, the car had been parked in very cold weather for almost a week, so only good to have it warmn up for a short drive.
We left around 1020 and skied on limited snow, arriving at the summit around 1045. A picnic table on top. Some views down towards the Dokka valley. We left after 5 minutes and skied back down to the car.
