Information:

How to get there:
Drive E-39 north from Bergen. Just before entering the long Eikefet tunnel, turn left (north) on Hwy. 570. Follow this road to Nordkvingo, fork right and drive along the lake Kvingedalsvatnet to the first farm at the north end of the lake. Find parking here.
Route description:
Follow a well marked trail north, then east to the 400 meter cross-over col north of Bergdropen. Leave the trail here and hike south to the summit. There are two high points of almost equal elevation. The east point is slightly higher. A short distance further east is another, lower point with a small cairn.
Comments:
This was a very confused trip. Please read my report for Vardefjellet for additional details.
This peak has only 97 meter of prominence. there are two competing high points. Laser (Lidar) data shows the east point to be slightly higher. However, the elevation is only 512 meter. The key saddle is located at location 60.78082, 5.42786. The 415 meter contours seems to almost touch and lidar data indeed shows that the lowest point is not significantly lower, that is, the saddle should remain at 415 meter and thus the prominence is less than 100 meter.
