Information:
How to get there:
Drive north on Hwy. E-6, turn right (east) on Hwy. 74 about 8 kilometer south of Grong.
Drive past the village of Sandvika and turn right (towards Mebygda/Sørli) on Hwy. 765.
In Mebygda, you will see a white statue of the local cross country skier Frode Estil on your left.
Continue about 5 kilometer from here, along the main hwy. to a fork at the north end of lake Ulen.
Turn right and cross the river. Measure from this fork and continue about 12 kilometer, perhaps slightly less.
You should locate a side road going downhill on your left side. Take this road. There is a self serve
toll gate almost immediately, NOK 30. in 2020. Drive downhill and cross the river on a bridge, turn left
at the T-junction just after this bridge. Continue this road until it ends after about 2.8 kilometer from
this last bridge. Ignore a side road that forks right along the way. Park on the grass meadow where the
road ends, this is the trailhead, location N64.18005, E013.62828, elevation around 420 meter.
